Software/Systems Engineer

Modus Operandi, located in Melbourne, FL, has several software and systems engineering positions open and is seeking exceptional engineers with Java/C++ experience and DoD security clearances to join our engineering team.

Job Description:

The selected team members will participate and/or lead the research and development of new and innovative technologies and systems to support the fusion and analysis of military intelligence information with C4ISR and C2 applications. Senior candidates will be involved in the architectural design and implementation of complex enterprise solutions in these areas. NOTE: All applicants applying for this job opening must be US citizens and have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Existing TS/SCI preferred.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering required
  • Graduate degree (M.S., Ph.D.) in CS/CE desired
  • 4+ years of software team development experience required
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Java/C++, SOA, WSDL/SOAP required
  • Strong oral and written skills required.
  • Knowledge of semantic web technologies, OWL, RDF, ontologies desired
  • Knowledge of DDMS and other metadata standards desired
  • Knowledge of the C4ISR and C2 domains desired
  • Active security clearance required
