Modus Operandi Releases Wave® Version 2.7

MELBOURNE, Florida, Aug. 21, 2007 – Modus Operandi, a leading software and information integration technology company, today announced the general availability of Wave Version 2.7. Wave’s semantic integration tools enhance the BEA AquaLogic® Data Services Platform with the capability to unify information across the enterprise at the semantic level, adding meaning to data and resolving data conflicts.

Wave uses an ontology (or conceptual model) to unify and resolve semantic conflicts among data sources. An ontology is a representation of domain knowledge in the form of concepts, relationships, and rules. Wave release 2.7 made relationship navigation functions fully compatible with BEA AquaLogic Data Services Platform and WebLogic Workshop applications. Wave Version 2.7 also enhanced the Wave View tool, and eased setup for secure access to Wave View and the Wave Web service.
