Modus Operandi Joins Lockheed Martin Team For Army
Battle Command Modernization Contract
Procurement Program will upgrade Army Battle Command Systems into net-centric,
service-oriented architecture that enables full interoperability
MELBOURNE, FL, June 16, 2009 – Modus Operandi, a leading software and information integration technology company, announced today that it has joined the Lockheed Martin team for a U.S. Army contract vehicle that is designed to support the Army with the latest next-generation command-and-control technologies and services.
Lockheed Martin is one of six prime contractors selected to compete for numerous task orders in the program, which covers five years and has a maximum potential value of $777 million. Modus Operandi will provide the Lockheed Martin team with software engineering and technical services to enable interoperability and cross-domain collaboration.
The Battle Command Family of Products indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle, managed by Project Manager Battle Command in Fort Monmouth, NJ, will be used by the Army to obtain command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) services, products and solutions.
