Modus Operandi Welcomes Dr. Mark Heileman as VP, Sales & Marketing

MELBOURNE, Florida, March 1, 2004---Modus Operandi, a leading business and information technology solutions company, announced the appointment of Dr. Mark Heileman to its management team in the position of Vice President, Sales & Marketing. Dr. Heileman will be responsible for driving high value to customers through leveraging the significant extent of Modus Operandi intellectual property developed via sponsored research contracts.

Dr. Heileman's 24-year career includes engineering and consulting positions with i2 Technologies, United Space Alliance, Rockwell International and Harris Corporation. He was most recently the Vice President of Sales Engineering for Elisar Software Corporation, a start-up software company. Dr. Heileman is a graduate of the University of Central Florida where he earned a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering & Management Systems. He also holds an M.S. in Engineering Management and an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology, as well as a B.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Florida.
