MELBOURNE, Florida, Jan. 3, 2006 – Modus Operandi, a leading software and information integration technology company, announces the release of Version 2.3 of its powerful Wave® Platform for model-driven enterprise data services. The Wave Platform provides tools to semantically integrate information across the enterprise and then delivers unified and consistent access to that information. The Wave Platform is built upon the BEA AquaLogic Data Services Platform™.

To help simplify and speed deployment of integrated data, the Wave Platform now provides automated transformation of a conceptual model to a deployable logical model of enterprise data services using the industry standard Web Ontology Language (OWL). Once the model is deployed, the new Wave Search enables all enterprise data to be fully searchable upon integration without additional coding. Rounding out the new release, the new unified web services XQuery Application Programming Interface (API) feature enforces a consistent interface contract for all data services, improving reuse and adaptability.
