Test Engineer- two opportunities (These positions are available at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG), MD) 

Modus Operandi, headquartered in Melbourne, FL, is seeking motivated Test Engineers to join our engineering team at APG.  Note – All applicants applying for this job opening must be US citizens and have a current TS/SCI clearance.

Modus is seeking Test Engineers who have the willingness to complete engineering testing combined with the ability to run Eggplant test cases, write/edit test cases and identify/troubleshoot bugs on the Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A) by completing the following responsibilities: 

Defines, documents, analyzes, performs, and interprets developmental tests for new and/or modified products or product components. Investigates and resolves operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. Provides technical support and advice to other engineering groups. Devises and applies testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies received from outside vendors. Participates in the development, maintenance and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs.  

Required Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or any other Scientific or Technical discipline. (Four additional years of experience can substitute for Bachelor’s degree)
  • 3 years within the last 5 years testing experience (preference is experience with RF systems)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Hold a current and active TS/SCI
