Position: Software Developer Journeyman - (This position is available at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG), MD) 

Modus Operandi, headquartered in Melbourne, FL, is seeking a motivated Software Developer, Journeyman, to join our engineering team at APG.  Note – All applicants applying for this job opening must be US citizens and have a current Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI.   

Responsibilities - The Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain software for a variety of engineering applications. The Software Developer’s full-time duty location will be onsite at APG.

Must have experience in the following:

  • Working with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements.
  • Developing tools and interfaces.
  • Designing, developing, and testing operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications.
  • Setting operational specifications and formulating and analyzing software requirements.
  • Designing embedded systems software.
  • Programming Competencies: YAML, .Net, Go, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, React, Python
  • DevSecOps: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, CI/CD
  • Kubernetes: Container lifecycle, create & customize
  • Scripting: PowerShell, Batch
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required.
  • Three (3) years of experience within the last 5 years.
