Holds master's degrees in National Security & Strategic Studies and Military Operational Art, plus a BS from the USAF Academy.

Co-founder of Modus Operandi with 30+ years applying advanced computing to complex defense, intelligence, and commercial problems. Focused on harnessing data to sharpen situational understanding and decision-making. BS in Computer Science, Washington University; MBA, Florida Institute of Technology. Active board member across multiple nonprofits.

PMP-certified COO and Principal Systems Engineer with 30 years across DoD and commercial programs. Expertise spans AI/ML, ISR, C2, mission planning, missile and guidance systems, and IV&V. Has supported DIA, Army DEVCOM, ONR, USMC, Missile Defense Agency, Navy, and Air Force — including building a missile simulator used in live test prep.

Joined Modus Operandi in 2009. As CTO, he is a solutions-focused software architect and implementation manager who excels in applied research, evaluation, and rapid prototyping for new product development. Translates client business needs into high-quality products and guides cross-functional teams from concept to delivery. BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida; a published speaker with several software patents.

Has served as Chief Financial Officer for Modus Operandi since 1988, except for a 2001–2004 engagement as controller at Legacy, a $30M nutritional supplement distributor. Balances the needs of a high-growth company while ensuring operational efficiency without sacrificing quality. Spent fifteen years in academics instructing at graduate and undergraduate levels. Two-time graduate of Florida Tech with a BS in Management Science and an MBA.

Chief Revenue Officer with 12+ years across B2B and B2G markets spanning enterprise sales, federal capture, and go-to-market strategy, contributing to over $60M in contracts across DoD and civilian agencies. Expertise in AI-powered analytics, knowledge graph solutions, SBIR/STTR strategy, and federal acquisition. Former Director of Sales and Partnerships at Scout, and Managing Director of Inspiralia USA, scaling it to a 30-person operation serving 500+ clients.

Served as president of Modus Operandi from 2012–2017, leading the company to the forefront of the government and military software technology market. Board member since 2007. Previously president of Federal Systems LLC. Founded Paravant Computer Systems in 1982, led it through its 1996 IPO and 2002 acquisition by DRS Technologies, then served as president of DRS Tactical Systems. BS from University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee; master's from University of Michigan.

Over 35 years of business experience primarily with early and growth-stage technology companies. Led two IPOs, multiple venture financings, and strategic partnerships. First EVP/CFO and VP of Corporate Development at Rivian Automotive, helping grow it from 15 to over 2,000 employees. As COO/CFO of MapQuest.com, led its transition to the market-leading Internet mapping company and managed its IPO and sale. BS in mathematics from Florida Tech; MBA from University of Virginia.

Former president of Florida Institute of Technology and Florida Atlantic University. Founding president of the Florida State University Presidents Association. Senior Fulbright Professor in Bogota, Colombia. Degree in city and regional planning from Rutgers, master's in urban planning from NYU, and PhD in urban and regional planning from the University of Wisconsin. Author of 13 books and over 65 journal articles; recipient of the CASE Chief Executive Leadership Award.
